Recently, the customized vpsa oxygen generator R&D and produced by GNEE has completed all factory inspection procedures, been loaded into containers at Tianjin Port and shipped to Europe, and officially delivered to a well-known local mining group. The shipped equipment will be used for underground industrial oxygen supply scenarios in the group’s mines, marking the successful entry of our company’s Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Systems into the European high-end industrial gas equipment market, and laying a solid foundation for cooperation between China and Europe in the field of industrial oxygen supply equipment.
As a leading mining enterprise in southeastern Europe in terms of scale, the customer has long been engaged in the exploitation and processing of non-ferrous metal ores. Its underground mineral processing and smelting links have stringent requirements for the purity, stability and continuous supply capacity of industrial oxygen. Previously, the customer mainly relied on liquid oxygen transportation and cylinder oxygen supply modes, which not only faced problems such as high logistics costs and long transportation cycles, but also increased the safety risks of liquid oxygen storage due to the narrow underground working space. Moreover, affected by fluctuations in European energy prices, the procurement cost of liquid oxygen has been rising year by year. To solve this series of pain points, the customer launched the "Localized Oxygen Generator Procurement" project, screening oxygen generation equipment that complies with EU CE certification, features low energy consumption and is suitable for mine working conditions from around the world. After multiple rounds of comparative tests, the customer finally selected GNEE’s vpsa oxygen plant.
Compared with traditional oxygen generation technologies, the vpsa system for oxygen delivered this time is a core model custom-developed for European customer needs. It not only retains the advantages of PSA oxygen generator such as low energy consumption and easy maintenance, but also achieves higher oxygen purity and more stable production capacity output through the upgrade and optimization of the vacuum desorption process.
The core parameters of the equipment are fully aligned with EU industrial equipment standards:
- Oxygen production capacity reaches 200 Nm³/h (normal cubic meters per hour);
- Oxygen purity is stably maintained at 95% (adjustable to 99% according to customer requirements);
- Unit oxygen energy consumption is only 0.3 kWh/Nm³ O₂, far lower than the average level of 0.45 kWh/Nm³ O₂ of similar equipment in the European market;
- The equipment is equipped with an intelligent PLC control system that supports remote monitoring and fault early warning, and can be adapted to the unmanned operation scenarios of European mines;
- Meanwhile, the equipment adopts an overall modular design, with the size of a single module controlled at 4.2×2.1×2.8 meters, which can adapt to the narrow underground installation space of European mines and greatly reduce the difficulty of on-site assembly.
To ensure the vpsa oxygen generator is safely and punctually delivered to the customer’s site, GNEE has set up a special service team to take full control of the entire process from production and testing to logistics. In the production link, the technical team has conducted 3 rounds of performance tests on core components such as molecular sieve adsorption towers, air compressors and vacuum desorption systems in strict accordance with EU CE certification and customer customization requirements, ensuring the equipment can operate stably in the temperature range of -10℃ to 40℃; In the logistics link, customized shockproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion container packaging has been made according to the characteristics of European sea and land transportation. Buffer pads have been added to vulnerable parts of the equipment, and temperature and humidity monitors have been equipped in the containers to monitor the transportation environment in real time; In the customs clearance link, the review and filing of a full set of documents including CE certification certificates, certificates of origin, and multilingual technical manuals (English, German, and local languages) have been completed in advance to ensure the equipment smoothly passes European customs inspection.
